Digital Students @ Analog Schools

Here is a video from Marco Torres a keynote from Alan November's conference and teacher from Fernando Valley High School in LA

The students who made this movie did this on their own after graduating from San . They moved onto higher and and enrolled in several prestigious colleges. The students did all the work on the movie while attending college and working collaboratively and online. How impressive is that!

Uploading files to the web (blog or podcast)

To upload file to the web -

Options
1. School folder on the web
2. ISP account, comcast, verizon, etc
3. Create Accounts on ourmedia http://www.ourmedia.org/ and http://www.archive.org
4. See handout for other suggestions (.mac account, etc)

One file file is uploaded copy the hyperlink to your blog and thei file will open
Here is a word document in Ourmedia (links to location http://www.archive.org/download/marottatesttestsounddoc/testsound.doc)

Note: You can also use other integrated tools that allow you to upload a file directly into a blog, example podbean.
